Front End Developer

You have a strong foundation in design production and consistently come up with creative solutions for implementation of basic and complex visual designs. You can collaborate directly with the project team members, and ensure the technical accuracy and proper implementation of the front-end within current best practices. You will be responsible for the front-end design cut and implementation of many project types.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of ASP.NET, XHTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript (and libraries such as JQuery), Web 2.0 technologies including but not limited to: blogs (WordPress), Social Media, HTML5, RSS, personalization, and widgets.
  • Strong knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform compliance, including mobile devices
  • Provide accurate cost and timeline projections for technical solutions
  • Ability to construct web site designs with strong analytical, design, and problem solving skills
  • At least 5+ years of industry or related experience, with at least 3 years of focus on front-end development
  • Organized, on both a general and file, version management level
  • Able to act independently and within a project team environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and actively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Proven ability to effectively manage time and priorities

Responsibilities

  • Execute the vision and concepts created by designers
  • Ensure that projects adhere to current web standards and best practices guidelines
  • Help to coordinate cross-project collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Research and investigate new options and features to incorporate into designs
  • Work very closely with the creative team to ensure successful implementation of new interface design and functionality
